[MR] One last final plug for the Siege

The crops have been brought inside the walls, the wells have been
secured, the conscripts have been pressed into service, the armies
stand poised and ready to battle...will YOU be there?

Tomorrow will be the Siege of the Black Tower in the Canton of Rivers
Point of the Barony of Caer Mear (that's Richmond, VA if you were
wondering).  A day filled with fighting, Artistic endeavors, feasting,
dancing, and fun.

The price?  At this point, it's $10 at the door.  Feast is an
additional $5, a scant few spaces were available as of my last check
with the reservationist (if you have contacted her or myself with a
"We're coming and want to be on board" as of last night, your space is
secure, so long as you show up and pay for it).  Non-Members must pay
the safe passage tax of $3 at the door or face the wrath of forces who
should not be named.

The weather conditions are shaping up for a nice day, a little bit
brisk, but the Not-Quite-Yet-Springtime sun should warm our hearts and
spirits (Partly cloudy, high of 48 degrees per weather.com).

Come on out and have a wonderful day with the Canton.  Site opens to
the public at 9 AM.

Directions: Take your best route to Chippenham parkway  (exit 67 off
of I-95 just south of Richmond).  Take the 2nd Ironbridge Road exit
towards Chester/Chesterfield and follow the yellow and purple SCA
signs.  Be alert!  There is a U-Turn that you must take to get to
Ruritan Place.  We will mark it as clearly as possible.  If you pass a
fire station on your right, you went too far.
