[MR] seeds

I have obtained some seeds from a friend who happens to have SCA leanings
and currently is working in the Sikkim/ Himalayan region of the world. We
have about 10 or so seeds for a Mt. cucumber that is described in period
literature and depicted in period art. It comes out of Tibet from a former
monastery, now nursery, it is supposed to produce large fruits 15+ in long,
5+ in diameter that have a crackled brown or fuzzy skin. A euro university
is doing DNA matches to some samples found in burial or storage areas. We
will know better later.
 I also have a high mountain "eggplant" gourd that has a light purplish /
lilac finish. The fruit is relatively long and thin. These also come from
the same source and are depicted and described in period sources. I am about
to start germinating these I hope. I would like to separate the plantings so
that a blight, fungus, mole will not wipe out the entire source. Your name
and address will be recorded and you will be required to give away ( you
choose who) half the seeds/ fruit for 2 years and record where and to whom
