If you're like us and can't set it up to dry thoroughly (we live in a 
townhouse), the next best thing is to get a good dehumidifier and drape 
it out until it is bone dry. Store it folded, not stuffed, in a dry 
place. Beware of mice, they will love to nest in the canvas. I built a 
chest that doubles as a knockdown hiding place for our cooler at 
Pennsic (http://www.his.com/~tom/sca/projects/hutch.html) that works 
pretty well.
