 Greetings unto the list!

I have set up a general SCA message board at http://www.stonerosevale
com/board. I will happily take any and all
suggestions for forums or categories that may be needed or desired (both
public or private). I set this thing up because yahoo's boards are somewhat
limited, and things are pretty much just thrown out haphazardly without
regard to topic, etc. This format allows for things like FAQ's to remain 
sticky", and for easy archival . The PhPBB format will allow people to go to
one place to get information or discuss things on a variety of topics. I
realize that some topics are not covered there as of yet - but I will add
them as desired or needed. I just wanted to get the boards up and running
with a basic set of areas to start with.

Registration is required to post to the boards, but not to view them. This
is to prevent data mining by our wonderful friends in Nigeria (and other
places) who only want our help in moving vast sums of money...

This is a pretty flexible board, and I can also set up a "hidden" board that
only certain people can see and use. For example I can set up a "Pelican"
group that will only be accessible by (or even visible to) the people the
moderator of that particular board adds to it. This will allow private
discussions if desired. I can also set up categories for geographic areas
(such as a Barony or Shire), with both public and private areas, moderated
by whoever is wanted.
