Greetings good gentles,

Please excuse the cross-posting, should you receive this more than once.  I know that some of you may be far reached from our lands, but if you know of anyone who may be close by, or willing to make the travel, please pass this missive on.

Yes, another demo..  Tis the summer of fun, Knights and Dragons..

The Canton of Hindscroft has been asked to put on a demo for the Archdale Library, July 16th.

As we would love to do as much as possible, I am putting a call out for any and all who would be willing to assist to please contact me.

The information that I have received from those in charge of the program is as such:

In the past, when they have offered these types of programs, they have had as many as 200 folks show (children and their parents).  Before school let out, they had gone around and advertised the demo to all of the students, and even gave out contact information.  They also will be advertising it in their local newspapers, and are hoping for some television exposure as well.  (Even hoping to get a station to come out the day of the demo)...

What they would like us to offer is as much of the SCA as the children and their families could ever get a chance to see anywhere else..  Fighting (heavy and light), dancing, Arts & Sciences, games, you name it..

So if you are available the weekend of July 16th, please contact me if you are able to offer any assistance.  We will be running the demo from 10 am through to 2 pm (although if we run over, they are currently ok with that)..  We can use all the help we can get..

You assistance would be greatly appreciated...
