[MR] CORSAIR Project

For those of you interested in medieval manuscripts, the Pierpoint Morgan
library has unveiled their CORSAIR project to eventually make their entire
collection of 1,300 manuscripts available on-line.  Currently more than
5,000 images are available. For each accessible manuscript they  provide the
location, time period, artist or school (if known), and an index of every
page available.  Each page has a summary with a list of genres [so you can
search the database for --> Marginal illustrations - England - London - 15th
century] and subjects [search for Animal - Cat or Virgin Mary].  They
provide a full copy of each page, but for some of them they add additional
detailed pictures of the margins, etc.
