Good questions!  :)  The SCA does not allow anyone 5 or under on a 
horse at any time,  for any reason, so pony rides would be out for the little 
group. All other  riders have to be authorized to ride at events, just like 
heavy and rapier  fighters....sorry!:(  We really don't do pony rides at all. 
Would  your local member be interested in doing kid's activities? We have to 
have  kid sized equipment and of course, there's more paperwork to do for  
minor's authorizations but it would sure be great to be able to offer the  
mounted games to our smaller Atlantians. Let me know!!:)
