Hello, folks.

We're still having the Bardic tonight (details below), but we also wanted to make sure that everyone is aware that there's a Winter Storm Warning in effect for our area from about noon today (Saturday) until Sunday morning.

The good news is that the DOT have finally figured out that it might be a good idea to pre-treat the roads, which is what they're doing.

Here is a link to the Storm Warning details:

Use your own judgement. We expect tonight to be a fun evening, but it's not worth risking yourself or your vehicle if you think the conditions are looking dangerous.

If you're wondering about crash, space, we'll put up anyone that needs it. All we can offer is carpeted floor space and a limited supply of blankets, so make sure to bring whatever bedding you'll need.

About the bardic....

>The planets have aligned and the Powers That Be have decreed that Dunstan le Heryngmongere finally has a day off from work!  This can only mean one thing:

>=== What's a "Bardic"? ===
>A gathering for the purposes of singing, storytelling and whatever other performing arts can operate in our living room.  Local custom is the "Pick, Pass or Play" format.  An object (The Holy Handgrenade of Antioch) is passed around the circle.   When the object comes to you, you can choose to pick someone to perform a requested piece, or you can pass the object on to the next person, or you can perform a piece of your choice.
