The planets have aligned and the Powers That Be have decreed that Dunstan le Heryngmongere finally has a day off from work! This can only mean one thing:

Emergency Bardic at Valdemar and Ursula's

=== What's a "Bardic"? ===
A gathering for the purposes of singing, storytelling and whatever other performing arts can operate in our living room. Local custom is the "Pick, Pass or Play" format. An object (The Holy Handgrenade of Antioch) is passed around the circle. When the object comes to you, you can choose to pick someone to perform a requested piece, or you can pass the object on to the next person, or you can perform a piece of your choice.

=== Who can come? ===
Anyone. Guests of guests are welcome!

=== What should we wear? ===
Garb (Medieval/Renaissance-type costume) is requested but not required.

=== What should we bring? ===
Chips and soft drinks will be provided (BYOB). Other munchies are welcome, but not required.

=== Who's Dunstan le Heryngmongere? ===
Let's take a look at the rascal ==> http://bayard.daysofyoreevents.com/dunstan.htm

=== Directions? ===

5429 Fayetteville Road, Durham, NC
919-361-2375

>From I-40, take exit 276 (the Southpoint Mall / Fayetteville Road exit).

On Fayetteville Street, head toward Downtown Durham (away from the Mall).

We are about a mile from I-40.

After the 3rd traffic light (Woodcroft Parkway) we are the 2nd house on the Right.

The house is pale grey with burgundy shutters, and there is a huge fiesta red box truck in the driveway.

Park on the side of the road. If we run out of room, look for more parking on the first street past our house (Hemming Way).

The festivities start at 7:30 PM, Saturday, 29 January and continue until we quit. Crash space is available.

Cheers,
Ursula & Valdemar
