Greetings all!

I would like to remind the populace of the
competitions that are on track for The Bright Hills
Baronial Birthday Event, February 12, 2005 at the
Hampstead FIre Hall in Hampstead, MD.

We hope we have something for everyone! 

Arts & Sciences Activities:  The following activities
are planned.

   1. The best original song, story, poem, etc.,
describing an event, person, or theme related to the
Barony of Bright Hills; 

   2. Two garb competitions for the best Children’s
garb for ages 0 - 2 years and for ages 2 - 4 years.
Documentation is required. 

   3. Calligraphy: this can be a scroll, a scroll
blank, or an unrelated piece of calligraphy in a
period hand. This competition is sponsored by the
autocrats and Baron Temur has donated a wonderful
prize.

   4. Lady Martel von Charlottenburg will sponsor a
competition for the Best Decorated Item in Black and
White. Documentation is suggested but not required.
