Unto Their Majesties, Janos and Rachel, King and Queen of Atlantia and to
Their Excellencies, Duncan and Eyrick, Baron and Baroness of Hawkwood, do I,
Lady Marryyn Blackgroves send humble greetings.

It was my great pleasure to be Your court herald for the day. If it pleases
You, the following is the business You conducted at A Winter’s Tale, January
15, Anno Societatis XXXIX, in the Barony of Hawkwood.

*Mid-day, in the presence of Her Majesty Rachel, the Baron and Baroness of
Hawkwood did open a small court. Where upon You did bestow Tighearn Eoghan
Og MacLabhrainn as the premier recipient of the Baronial award for service,
the Award of the Silver Decrescent. There being no further business at the
time, court was closed.

After a wonderful bardic competition, Their Majesties did see fit to open a
Royal Court. Along with Their Excellencies Hawkwood, You did invite Their
Excellencies Nottinghill Coill, Baron William and Baroness Julian into Your
Court.

You first had all the children come forward and hand out games and candies
to them.

*Your Majesties then called forth, m’lady Avalina of the Wood, and raised
her to the ranks of nobility with an Award of Arms.

*M’lady Gisella du Coeur was then called into court, and she too was given
an Award of Arms.

Your Majesties then allowed Their Excellencies Hawkwood to open Their
Baronial Court.

contributions, Your Excellencies did bestow upon and name him the premier
member of the Order of the Silver Hawk. You then gave him a ring as a
personal token.

*Unbeknownst to the herald, and much to my surprise, Baron Duncan called me
into court. With the aid of Mistress Rhiannon ui Neill as Herald, You then
proceeded to induct me into the Baronial order for service, the Order of the
Golden Moon.

There being no further Baronial business, Their Excellencies Hawkwood’s
court was closed.

After Your Majesties finished tossing chocolate to the populace, much to the
amusement of all, You continued with Your court.

All newcomers, for whom this was their first event were called forth,
greeted and given scrolls.

*M’lord Melcher Lloyd of Hawkwood was then called into court and bestowed
upon him the Order of the Coral Branch with an Award of Arms.

*M’lady Theresa of Caid was called forward and raised to the ranks of
nobility with an Award of Arms.

*Lord Ravenwoulf the Arcane was then called into court and was given a Grant
of Arms.

After a few brief words with Their Excellencies Nottinghill Coill, and a
reminder about Gulf Wars, there being no further business to conduct, Their
Majesties’ Royal Court was closed.

As these acts were done in my presence, this report is complete and accurate
to the best of my knowledge.
Done by my hand on 17th day of January, AS 39 being the Common Era year
2005.

In Service to the Crown, Coronet and Her Peoples,

Lady Marryyn Blackgroves
