Thank yous MUST go out to the Troll "staff" of yesterday's Bright Hills
Baronial Birthday.
That would be, in no particular order:
Lord Michael von Schonsee, who held down the fort upon Site Opening, and
assembled tokens.
Lady Reyne Telarius who taught finger looping on Friday night at fighter
practice, and brought in a HUGE batch of cords for the site and feast
tokens. (Lady Reyne also became the newest companion of the Order of Job,
for her service to the Barony. Vivat and WOOT!!!)
Lady Akiyo, Lady Brienna, Lady Maeve, the 3 Graces, who sat behind the Troll
table in the morning, fingerloop braiding yet MORE cords, and cracking
sassy - you 3 made the hectic rush of Troll much easier by keeping all of us
laughing.
Hunter Fowler, who sat for HOURS at Troll assembling tokens, and keeping
folks who were waiting in line to check in smiling by his vast good humour.
Hunter, I cannot begin to Thank You enough.
Lady Akiyo, who in addition to fingerloop braiding cords in the morning,
took a shift at Troll. You are a gem, my lady! (Lady Akiyo also bought a
basket of chocolate, which made the Troll table THE happening place,
especially among the 12 and under crowd!)
Cassie and Steven Fuller, who both only began playing with us at Baronial
12th Night, and who each took a shift at Troll. Obviously true Bright
Hillians, living up to our motto "Only the Best from Bright Hills". Thank
you so very much, my friends!
Domina Szilagy Margit, who spelled folks periodically, whilst keeping an eye
on the White Elephant Table, and draping the Hall. Thank you for your great
generosity of spirit!
M'lord Magnus MacTaggart, who sat and counted out the gate with me, and
refrained from ribbing me when I made a rookie accounting mistake during
tally out. (Yes, Idiot Girl, even if all 5 checks are for the same amount,
you really do need to count them ALL in....)
All of these folks made my first outing running Troll an easy and painless
job. Your hard work made me look both good and organized. I thank you!!!
