Arise Atlantia and prepare for battle!!!  The Canton of River's Point
presents the Siege of the Black Tower, a day filled with Melees for
both Heavy and Rapier fighters as well as gentler amusements for those
not martially inclined. The day will be topped off by a feast prepared
by River's Point's finest.

Martial Activities: 
Heavy fighting consisting of numerous Melee siege scenarios, including
Combat Archery.
Rapier fighting consisting of numerous devious Melee scenarios.

Arts & Sciences Activities:  
The theme is "Siege", be creative, as the choice of some secret member
of the populace will decide the victor.
In addition, An Open display of projects in Progress (documentation
encouraged, but not required) in any medium will be held.

Site:  The Dale Ruritan Club located at 5001 Ruritan Place, Richmond,
Virginia 23234.  Please bring dayshades for your comfort, although the
Canton will be providing galleries as well.

Site Restrictions:  This is a DRY SITE! No Archery (Combat Archery is
allowed during certain Melee scenarios). Pets must be leashed per
Chesterfield County law. Per Atlantian Law, smoking is not allowed in
the Central areas of the event. Violators will be removed from the
site without refund.

Feast Information:  A feast for up to 75 gentles will be prepared by
Lady Sorcha Gaughran.  Feast is limited to 75 gentles, so Reserve
early, and we are sorry, but if your child eats feast, they must pay
the full price. Dietary concerns can be directed to the head chef at

67off of I-95 just south of Richmond).  Take the Ironbridge Road exit
towards Chester (you can see the site from the exit ramp) and follow
the yellow and purple SCA signs.
