[MR] Combat Archery Event

I have not seen it in Atlantia, but in another Kingdom they had an archer vs archer scenario in which the archers were confined to a large circle a fixed distance away and then had to try and take out the opposing archer before being killed themselves.  A variation would be to have several 'shooting points' which would allow for some archer mobility.  The archer is vulnerable at all times, but can only shoot from designated locations.  Add as an option a shield and this could get interesting.  Another possible variation would be a limited woods battle or field battle with either stand up targets or a phalanx of heavy fighters.  The job of the archer is to kill the heavies before being killed by the opposing archers.  They would not be able to enter the field proper, but would have to shoot from cover or flanks.  To give the heavies something to do, have a banner at either end which would represent over running the archers.  Something like this was done at Pennsic some years ago.

say a Three Man Combat Archery teams  combatting each other?   If
not...what would be the best way to do this?  Duke Logan and I talked
about this last  night.
