I just had a funny experience that I wanted to share with you.  This week, I
have had to move my office on campus to a different building.  Campus employees
did most of it, but I still had left one or two light but bulky items that I
had to try to move with my own car.  Trying to fit them in the car, I lifted
and pushed and juggled and shoved and said bad words and kicked the tires for
about an hour, all by myself in a busy campus parking lot.  I realized after the
hour that the whole time I had been waiting to hear, "My lady, can you use some
help there?"  Didn't happen - I wasn't at an SCA event.

It made me so grateful that I have found the SCA, where courtesy and willingness
to help are a part of the unwritten laws.  It's all because you all believe in
the Dream - and, once again I am humbled knowing that I can count myself a
small part of such a wonderful group.

I don't say it enough:  Thank you all for the many courtesies you have shown me,
and each other.  You all make it a better world.
