My family and I are considering a move to Raleigh. Is there anyone with thoughts on the best place to live? My office will be downtown. I have one son still in high school and would prefer a smaller, less "inner city" type school for him. We will have to rent initially until I sell my house down here (anyone want to live at the beach??). Thank you so much for your assistance.

Greetings all,
Down the street from the site of Unevent is a rather middle of the road Chinese buffet place that is a neighborhood favorite (and a favorite of myself and my little brother). It runs about $6 a person. The manager told me the other day that they will get a discount for parties more than 25. I figured thats not a bad offer.
So, there will be a sign up sheet at troll and if we get the 25 needed, I will call and make a reservation.
If Chinese buffet is not to your forte, there are plenty of other options nearby. There will be a list at Troll.
Also, the weather prediction for this weekend is:
Friday Sunny with a high of 57 and a low of 33
Saturday Sunny with a high of 53 and a low of 47
Sunday Scattered storms with a high of 65 and a low of 42.
Yours,
Muirgheal

Greetings unto the Tavern,
I was wondering if the Kingdom could boast anyone who works with horn
(cow horn, to be precise)? The subject of spice boxes and other
utensils made of horn came up on another list to which I belong, and
I realized I hadn't seen anyone who actually makes horn ware in a while.
I do have this link, but it looks to be mostly 18th Century oriented.
