[MR] Isenfir Demo Saturday at Albemarle County Fair

Greetings All,

I realize it's Pennsic Panic time, but if you have
some free time and would like to join us for a demo,
we'd welcome your company at the Fair!

The Shire of Isenfir will be participating in a demo
this Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Albemarle County Fair.
We're in the Home Arts Tent, which is just to the
right of the office trailer, close to the Spotlight
stage.

The site opens at 10 a.m., but set up starts at 8 a.m.
(bright and early ;-)). Our cars have to be in the
parking lot by 9 a.m. so if you have "stuff" that
needs to be unloaded, please keep that in mind. The
fair closes at 11 p.m., but we're thinking we'll close
up shop around 6 p.m.

If you cannot arrive that early, no worries (except
you might have to pay admission - we're checking on
that and will let you know asap!). Please feel to join
us at any time during the day, preferably wearing
spiffy garb and bringing cool stuff to display or
demonstrate. 

There is no admission fee for those wearing garb and
arriving before 10 a.m. (we'll work on later times and
let you know). 

Also PLEASE bring your own chair if you wish to sit! 

Here are a few of the things we're planning to
demonstrate. Please feel free to bring and/or
demonstrate your works.

1. sprang
2. tablet weaving
3. finger loop braiding
4. bobbin lace
5. glass bead making
6. jewelry making
7. Viking spoon throwing (if we can get the set up -
any ideas?)
8. period games
9. music
10. woodworking
