[MR] Period transportation didn't need gasoline

Or bike... not period, but still, better than using gas! We actually took
our bikes down from the attic this evening, and will be repairing/fitting
them to be usable for small errands around town. Fortunately, our town is
small enough to do that in!

A side benefit... I ought to get into better shape, too. :)
