upon the advice of others I have used aqua-tite (http://www.beaconfabric.com/vindex.html?cat78.htm) they swear by it and it was applied with a garden sprayer. In this heat it will dry is seconds!

Panther as this stuff called Canvak. I was thinking about using it on my
tent, but have not got around to do it yet. Too HOT! Wondering if that
would help.
