   One other thing to be aware of regarding rapier armor.
When armored up, there should be no bare skin showing.  That means
that when you lean over to pick something up, your shirt doesn't 
ride up and expose your back, your gloves cover past the end of your
shirt sleeve, etc....

The only 'armor' you'll need for Rapier CA is a three-weapons face mask; a
gorget for when there is schlager (as at Night on the town); 'impenetrable'
cloth covering head, neck, throat and torso front and back; strong fabric
covering everything else; leather gloves; solid shoes; and groin protection.
Chest protection is recommended but not required.

It doesn't sound like heavy CA is for you - the helmet will kill your back
before anything else will!
