Market Day Rapier Tourney Reminder

Tomorrow, On to Babylon: Melee and Market at the Hanging Gardens, tourney is
going to be a blast. Every body should get their fighting fill. Come out and
have fun. It won't be the same with out you. email me if you have questions.

Tourney: you will fight everybody in every weapons form. round robin style
swiss five. These are mondo-fun, much carnage.

Fencing Class "Voids and Voltes"

I've had quite a few questions about body voids and voltes so I have decided
to put together a short instructional on the mechanics and uses of such
maneuvers. If interested find me after the tourney tomorrow or at the sunday
practice in Blacksburg and I'd be happy to go over it with you.

Okay now this is the part where Mel makes people mad, (yea!) :) I have put
together a Provost & FreeScholar Report Card System. This is your chance to
grade your local white and gold scarves 'anonymously'. Grades are only
collected for those elements that the White Scarves themselves set forward
in the document " Measures for Consideration to the Academie"
(http://www.mindspring.com/~aedan/guidelines.htm) Just so know that this is
not some 'rant' page :) This could be a really good tool for all of us, to
find ways to continue to improve ourselves and rapier in the Kingdom. There
are some really basic rules (no profanity and the like) but please feel free
to be honest. You can also see the average score on each item for anybody on
the list, a really niffity way to look up the best in X in the Academie
d'Espee.
