[MR] Greetings from a newbie

Good Day!

I am relatively new to the SCA and with guidance from my sister, a 
long-time active member, have found this list (thank you, Livia!).  My 
family is located within the Barony of Bright Hills, but geographically 
close to Lochmere and Highland Foorde as well (we're in southern Carroll 
County, MD).   It looks like there will be a great number of interesting 
people to meet here and lots of fun events*G*

While I have found a lot of information on the three websites for these 
baronies (and will need several clones to do all the stuff I'd like to), 
I have yet to find any regular local period dance activity.  Can anyone 
in this area help me out here?  I have also subscribed to the SCA-Dance 
list and will check with them also, but any help will be appreciated.

Also, since there are a number of textile-oriented people in the SCA, I 
would like to take this opportunity to offer up a couple of items I no 
longer have room for in my home.  I have for sale an antique great-wheel 
and an industrial (Brother) sewing machine.  I'm afraid I've become 
proof that one can have too much spinning and sewing stuff! *G*  Please
