[MR] Brewers and Bakers unite!

Greetings unto Atlantia!  The Royal Baker and the Royal 
Brewer are cooking up something big! Please cross post at 
will!

We would like to announce a few "get togethers" in 
preperation for a comptition to be held at 12th night 
(more details on that later).

At University (yes, tomorrow), Look for a sign at 
registration for a meeting time and place.  We will be 
discussing interest in working in "pairs" and I will be 
passing out a beer barm bread starter made from Lord 
Michel's beer, to anyone willing to take some along with 
instructions for care and feeding.

At Crusades, we will be meeting at some point (again, 
check at troll for a sign) to taste bread made from beer - 
any way, any type--form "dump a can of Bud into some flour 
bread" to bread made from your own starter.  Bring as many 
or as few loaves as you like.  The idea is to share your 
experience with working with beer and to see how different 
beers make different breads taste.  If any brewers have a 
batch of beer or mead ready to bottle and would like to 
bring some sediment to share, that would be great! (Beer 
also washes bread down well..hint hint)

I will have copies of my journal if you wish to take it 
home to try it out.  

At 12th night Lord Michel and I will be sponsering a joint 
compition of Brewers and Bakers.  Details are still being 
worked out.
