question concerning how to find the group in Franklin, NC.

and put in your zip code. That will give you a link to the seneschal's
contact information for the group you fall under as well as the group's
name.

Armed with the group's name you can then visit their website off of:
http://www.atlantia.sca.org/groups.shtml
Their website will give you information on how to get involved locally.
