Long years ago, when Sacred Stone was made a Barony, I was serving as
Triton Principal Herald, and was privileged to herald the Court where
this event occurred...His Grace and Duchess Melisande were King and
Queen. I will never forget that Court because, in their own special
manner, they were able to create, for me at least, the feeling that I
really was participating in a Medieval Court. This is the kind of
moment that we in the SCA are privileged to feel on rare occasions...and
I am grateful that Their Graces were the instruments of one of these for
me.

I have known His Grace for most of my time in the SCA...25+ years...I
can truly say of him that he was a Gentleman, a Poet and a Scholar.
