Greetings all,

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up on the plans
for rapier combat at Caer Mear's upcoming Baronial
Investiture on 11 December. Please come join us
as TRM preside over the elevation of our latest
Baron and Baroness, (William Cameron, Free Scholar
and Katerina von Wolfenburg).

Following the fine lead of Master Bryce, the rapier
tourney will be a "team format". A side goal of
this event is to raise donations of items for our
troops overseas.

For the tourney itself...

Survivor Series Team Tourney For both Rapier and Armoured:
(Our tournaments will be fought indoors so please
remember non-marking shoes.)

All entries into the list are asked to make a Donation
(Suggestions are located here:
http://www.geocities.com/melisent_spinning/carepackage.html)
for our troops overseas. Members of the populace can
donate as well.

Teams are of Three Fighters (No more than one Provost
per team). Teams will be paired against all other
teams, in round robin format in Rounds. Each Round
consist of three singles Bouts.

At the beginning of each Round, each side will either
Challenge or Answer*. The Challenging Team will put
forth one fighter, and the Answering team will counter
them in singles competition for one Bout, which
consists of three fights, best two out of three. (Once
used a fighter may not be used again in that Round).
This cycle repeats two more times. (All three bouts
must be fought each round regardless of the outcome).
The side with the most won bouts wins the round.

* This will be determined at the start of each Round
by casting dice.

Hope to see many of you there...

Aedan

PS - If this doesn't get you enough fighting, I don't
know what will!
