[MR] Why new crowns?

Yes, the kingdom was gifted with a lovely set of field crowns, which 
also came in gorgeous wood boxes with the kingdom arms atop them. I 
believe they were a gift from Calontir. Every kingdom this Pennsic 
revcieved a set of crowns like these, with the "symbol" of the kingdom 
etched into the front of the crown. They're awesome! But, from a 
distance, it's hard to tell which kingdom you're looking at. ;) (at 
least, for me...)

Personally, I think it would be awesome if someone out there did a lot 
of research and tried to come up with a design which was both 
functional and period. * contemplates the Honours of Scotland... 
decides that's a bit much....*
