[MR] Why new crowns?

Unless I am wrong, there is also the new set of Field
Crowns, gifted to us at Pennsic. They are light
weight, adjustable, gold plated, and have a sea shell
on them I believe. But they aren't the fancy-est.

Every few years the Kingdom does this. It isn't that
big a deal or an expense in the big scheme of things.
The Kingdom has buttloads of money that it never
touchs and kingdom fundraisers and profitable events
all the time.

Now personally, I think if we really want to make the
Crown's life's easier, we should move to raise the
Travel Stipend up to $1000 a reign.

But that's just me, being crazy again.
