GARB WARS -NOVICE TOURNEY



Their Excellencies, Baron Barre and Baroness Cordelia fitzRobert of York,
most desirous of seeing the ingenuity of the artisans of Bright Hills, do
proclaim a NOVICE TOURNEY to be held at Garb Wars.



To enter this tourney, the artisan must have been practicing the craft for a
period of two years or less.  (A professional costumer for the Kennedy
Center could enter her pewter cast buttons, had she been casting for less
than 24 months.)



The items must pertain to Garb - leather for shoes, pouches, or the like,
cast buckles, - textiles of any sort.  You are limited only by your
imagination!

THE GARB WARS EMBROIDERY CONTEST



This Competition is for embroidery ON an object - forepart, stomacher,
pouch, tablecloth, hat, napkin ~ the object is your choice.



This is a single entrant embroidery contest - no teams!



Item to be embellished may be constructed prior to the beginning of the

competition.  Only the embellishment will be judged!



NO pouncing or other design layout may be placed upon the object prior to

the 6 PM Friday May 14th start time.



Embroidery contestants are free to wander the sight, and add flavour to the
day's proceedings.  You are on your honour to abide by the rules.



The embroidery must be completed by 6 PM Saturday May 15th, and the object

must be worn or displayed during feast for the judging.
