[MR] Feast of St. Pyr-wow!

Good gentles,

I am taking up bandwidth freely because I had an Experience this past
weekend that must needs be talked of (note the capital E).  The experience
was the Feast of Saint Pyr and it was a glorious event!  The weather was
perfect, the views breathtaking, and the tavern lunch, feast, and
activities the real crown of the event.  I think autocrats Magdalena
Ilianova and THL Heidi of Black Diamond, as well as the feast creator
Aonghus and the lord Dionello (from whom I received a very nice invitation
postcard) all deserve a very noisy Vivant!

It is just the kind of event that I personally wish we had more of: plenty
of time for sitting quietly, food provided (no worries or coolers),
interesting classes to attend (bravo to the teachers as well!), and fun
and fellowship.  I am very happy to have been one of the teachers, and
grateful to the lady Magdalena for her gratification of my every need and
whim (sunshade, heralding, the list just goes on and on.)  Another high
point was a quiet afternoon where I could sit by a well-traveled path and
just 'bard' for whoever came along.  Lastly, the bardic circle, was
wonderful fun for me and I hope lots of fun for everyone-certainly,
everyone had the chance to perform or choose someone else to perform for
them.  The performances were sometimes amusing, sometimes beautiful, and
always terrific!  Vivat to her excellency of Black Diamond for suggesting
the lovely round "Dona Nobis Pacem."

Thanks again to all who made the event so lovely-the aforementioned
autocrats, their excellencies, and all the populace of Azurmont, Black
Diamond, and elsewhere who attended so graciously.  I had tremendous fun
and though I am a lonely creature much of the time, was reminded most
happily how friendly people and Society activity can make for a wonderful
experience.
