Greetings unto the Merry Rose and all others who get this message, from
Evan da Collaureo, newly warranted Wreath King of Arms (one of the two top
Laurel Deputies).
The Known World Heraldic and Scribal Symposium for 2004 is ciming up at
the end of June, in Harrisburg PA, only 45 minutes north of the kingdom
border. We haven't had a KWHSS this close in 13 years! I've been asked to
forward the folowing message from the autocrat. I encourage all heralds,
scribes, and interested gentles to make the trip up and attend -- from
northern Atlantia this can be a day trip if you want.
I would appreciate it if someone would forward this to any Scribes e-lists
we have in this kingdom... also, any baronial lists, especially in the
northern part of the realm. With thanks, I remain yours in service, Evan.

Greetings to all who read these words from Gisela, KWHSS event steward in
the East where Spring has finally graced the land!
I wish to remind all good gentles that the Known World Heraldic & Scribal
Symposium is fast approaching. A rigorous competition, the Golden Quill
Challenge, has been added for the Scribes of the group. Details can be
found on the Kingdom's Event announcement page
http://www.eastkingdom.org/event-detail.html?eid=683.
Also, a true test of volume for voice heralds and silly games to test the
knowledge of all heralds to help pass the time and create wonderful
memories.
The Proceedings, full of informative articles from people across the known
world, will be available for $15 and can be pre-ordered on the Web page.
The bus trip and behind-the-scenes tour of the Conservation department of
the Walters Art Gallery's manuscript rooms is filling up fast. Classes,
good companionship and the Laurel Team Roadshow will make the weekend fly
by.
Event details can be found at www.kwhss.sca.org. The more
pre-registrations I have, the better I can prepare a fantastic event!
Don't wait! Register now!
Thank you for your time and see you in June!
