GARB WARS - THE COMPETITION



The GARB WARS competition features construction of an outfit of garb ON-SITE

by a team of up to 6 members.  There may be a 7th member who is the model,

but that member may NOT assist in the construction of the garb.



The entries from each team will be modeled at the above the salt feast, and

awards made to the winners at that time.



Each team will display a drawing (8 1/2 x 11 or larger, which can be
prepared

before the event), or a mock-up of the finished product at their

workstation.  This will be to aid the observers.



Teams must bring anything and everything they will need to accomplish their

task.  The materials must NOT be cut before hand.  A sloper and

documentation may be prepared in advance.  ALL OTHER WORK MUST BE DONE

ON-SITE BETWEEN 6 PM FRIDAY EVENING AND 6 PM SATURDAY EVENING.  The site
will supply electricity, 2 large tables and 6 chairs.  The workstations will

be in the main hall.



If you wish to do construction other than in the main hall, please have a
sign at your workstation giving directions to where you are located on the
site.



The model must be present at the event and wear the final product at the

Feast on Saturday Evening.



Sign up sheets for teams will be available at either Troll or the Main Hall.

Entrants may register on site from 4 PM forward in order to be ready to

begin at 6 PM.
