Barony of Bright Hills

s the last days of Winter Struggle to hang on, Their Excellencies have 
declared a Festival to herald the awakening of Spring. As tradition, Blue 
Moon is being held as a day-long Puntathalon - a No-Holds-Barred day of 
bawdy songs and stories, dazzling costumes, culinary delights and 
spectacular verbal intercourse. The festivities include 6 contests, with 10 
categories, plus several non-competitive activities for those who don't 
enjoy public display.

Please Note - Due to the nature of the event, parents should consider 
whether the event is appropriate for their under age children.

The competitions are as follows:

Contest 1 - Immodest Bodice Contest, with 2 categories - Immodest Bodice 
Goddess, and Golden Globes Award.
Contest 2 - The Gentlemen's Codpiece Competition, with 1 category - Most 
Spectacular Codpiece.
Contest 3 - The "Come as your Favorite Pun" Contest, with 2 categories - 
Historical, and Non-Historical.
Contest 4 - The Bawdic Circle, with 1 category - Best bawdy song, story or 
poem.
Contest 5 - Period Food Puns, with 3 categories - Best Pun, Best Visual 
Display, and Best Presentation.
Contest 6 - Last Pun Standing - 1 category - a grueling Puntathalon, where 
it doesn't stop until there's only 1 person left punning!

Prizes will be awarded during court for all categories. Contestants may 
enter as many contests as they wish, but may only have 1 entry per category.

mundane names of all in your party.


There will be no Feast. The event is a Pot Luck, with a side board of soups, 
breads and hot beverages available for a small fee.

site is wet.No original containers. No pets please.

Directions:

Take I-95 to exit 77b, MD-24 toward Bel Air (about 17 miles north of 
Baltimore); Get into the far right lane, and turn right at first light onto 
MD-924. Follow for approx 5 ½ miles. You will be in the town of Bel Air. 
Approx ¼ mile after you enter town, the Armory will appear on the right 
side (looks like a big gray castle). Parking is at the school board just 
before the armory (around back) or at the school on the other side (entrance 
on Lee St).
