The populace of Hidden Mountain invites you to celebrate the culture of the Middle East at our Harleyville Oasis on April 10 2004. As Hafla means gathering of friends or Party, we ask that you share your talents. Come and  experience the friendship of its gentles and put on your Party Garb to dance the night away . Hidden Mountain has been known for its fun loving people for generations and this event is no different. The day will be filled with classes , learn to belly dance or drum, learn about beads  that are from the culture.  Want to teach?  Thears still plenty of room.This is a non fighting event. Sorry, the Middle East is at peace within our Barony

A& S Come and join his Excellency Luqman Al-Macrebie in his search for Fun!  The  Her Excellency Julianna has devised an oatmeal raisin cookies making competition for Luqman. Applications are being taken for judges, Wink.  There is also a competitoon for  the most entertaining toy  Period on not., On a more searioous note, There will also be a Drumming competition. Documentation would be nice but not required. and an Open Middle Eastern Competiton( Any thing from the Cultures). and Documentaion is required.

Feast will be a taste of Middle Eastern culture.  Taste the foods of India, Turkey, and Istabule, where Lamb and Chicken  are amin stays of the Culture.Please contact  THL Rowen the Shiftless.regarding special dietary needs or questions. rowencat at yahoo.com or 843-871-6832 NLT 10 pm.

FEES: 

Site $5.00 per person. Opens – 9 AM Closes – 11 PM

If your legal age is under 17 you are a guest of the barony. Sorry we have no children activities planed

Feast:$7.00 before March 27 and $ 8.00 after.

Directions:

Take your best route to I-26 west of Charleston, SC. Take exit #177 (route 453) towards Harleyville. Follow this road till it ends in a "T" intersection. Turn Left onto Highway 178 towards downtown Harleyville. Just after flashing yellow light turn right onto Johns St. The site is about 2 blocks down on the right.
