[MR] First Kingdom Siege Practice

For those of you interested, may 14-15-16 at a event called Hero's Portion we are going to have the first Kingdom Siege Practice. This means that we are going to be having Heavy Fighters, Combat Archers, and Siege engines for all scenarios in the afternoon. We are going to be running fencing scenarios in the am.

    If you have not been to this event we have a 40 foot tall repelling tower as the center of a Motte and Bailey we create. We have unlimited building materrial due to the logs down from the hurricane and donations of rope, so we are going to be very creative in setting things up. If you desire to assist with set up let me know privatly, I can use the help. 

    People are allowed to be in the top dropping things on the attackers as long as they have a helm or fencers mask on.

Siege Engineers
    The things we are going to be allowed dropped from the tower include
            -Boiling oil-Popcorn to simulate
            -Burning Oil- a Ten by Ten canvas circle with tennis balls sown into the 
                                seams.
            -1 lbs balls
            -Cows, anvils,ect as long as they are under ten pounds
            -Pool Noodle Vilas will be allowed
All siege amo must be yellow taped as per Society Minimums.
No direct fire weapons, specifically Balista and Arbalista, are allowed in fencing scenarios.

Archers-We are going to be having Yeoman Archers as a experiment. Please make sure that you are properly marked and armored

Heavies-We are allowing the thrust and throw javilins, all weapons that can be thrown need to be blue taped. So heavies, please do not use blue and or yellow tape on you weapons. (Questions on making Javalins please email off list.)

Fencers we are going to be running a fencing scenario in the AM. We are allowing the rubber band gun style cannons as a experiment, and are also requiring the tiny glow in the dark sticks used in Raves on the tips of the sword. This is to see if the tips are easier to see in the darkness of the tower. Fencers will be allowed to fight floor to floor this year as a experiment.
