Greetings! 
 
To further our preparations to make war upon the
Midrealm as allies to the East Kingdom, the Queen's
Spears will be hosting a Coronation Hastilude the
Sunday of upcoming Coronation, being the 4th of
April. Herr Christian von Nuremburg has graciously
agreed to be the Marshal in Charge. The format of
the Hastilude will be determined once we arrive and
determine how many entrants we have. The Hastilude
will begin promptly at 10am, and if time permits
beforehand we will do our best to hold
authorizations. If we finish up in time, we will
also do unit practice afterwards. The goal is to
pack as much training time as possible for both the
Queen's Spears and ALL who wish to join us. 

Speaking of that, all are invited to participate in
our Hastilude, whether he be a Queen's Spearman or
not. However, there will be TWO prizes. One will be
for the member of the Queen's Spears who places
highest in the Hastilude; that prize is a rapier
ready for fighting, graciously donated by Lord Ralph
Rufus. The other prize will be for the winner of the
Hastilude, and that will be a pair of stainless
steel vanbraces.  If it so happens that a Queen's
Spearman wins the Hastilude, then Congratulations!
You win two prizes! 

Extra spears will be available for those who bring
armor, but have no spear.
