Spring Crown Tournament

April 30 – May 2 2004

Hosted by the Shire of Crannog Mor (Boone, NC)

 

 

The strength and dignity of our fair Kingdom is perpetuated by those nobles who strive to win Her Crown.  The Shire of Crannog Mor is honored to host this year’s Spring Crown Tournament.  Together with the Kingdom of Atlantia, we are proud to invite one and all to come bear witness and cheer on our next Prince and Princess.

Tempora Atlantia– It is time once again for Tempora Atlantia.  This will be for the time period 1492 - 1600.  Please contact Miestri Isabel Ulfsdottir danr.n.isabel at juno.com for further information.

Middle Eastern Dance Competition – sponsored by Baron Achbar ibn Ali

 

Children’s Activities: There will be children’s activities planned throughout the day as well as an on-site playground.

 

Site: The site for this event is Appalachian Advent Campground, 190 Maranatha Blvd, Blowing Rock, NC 28605.  This site is DRY, no smoking in the buildings, no pets, no modern tenting.  The Site opens on Friday, April 30th  at 4pm and closes on Sunday, May 2nd  at 2pm. Pictures of the site may be viewed at: http://www.home.earthlink.net/~gracieboone

 

Additional Site Information:  This site provides us with a couple of cabin/sleep arrangements.      

Private Room: These are private rooms with either one or two double beds (similar to hotel  room) for 2 or 4 people.  Cost is per person.  (If you want a room by yourself, you will have to pay for all the bedspaces in that room.)

Barracks Style: Single bunk-bed style accommodations.

Feast: In true Crannog Mor tradition, a lavish and wonderful feast will be prepared by Lady Graciela Esperanza de Sevilla (Gracie Boone) and her most excellent staff. >From Points west (Asheville, etc)  Take your best route to US Highway 221.  Site will be on your left.
