We have just returned home from the Kingdom Arts and Sciences Festival,
where we were overwhelmed by the number and diversity of displays. Our
artisans are truly talented and our kingdom is better for it. However, we
would be remiss if we did not acknowledge the tremendous effort that was put
into making this event a success. Thanks are due to the Barony of Tir-y-don
for hosting the event. Many hands worked long and hard to ensure the day
went smoothly. In particular, we would like to extend our thanks Countess
Adelicia of Cumbria, the autocrat, and Lady Guendolyn of Cumbria, the head
cook, for running a wonderful event and serving a fabulous feast. Finally,
our thanks go out to several fine people from Windmaster's Hill who stayed
very late to make sure the kitchen got cleaned. Our kingdom is lucky to
have such fine people in her service.

Best Regards,
Cuan and Padraigin

Greetings unto the Acorn receiving people of Atlantia,

I just wanted to let everyone know that the March Acorn was mailed out late.
We were ready to go when, at the 11th hour, Corporate contacted us regarding
a potential issue with one of the event flyers. Printing and mailing had to
be held up until the issue could be resolved. I apologize for any
inconvenience this may cause.

Ever in Service,
Cassandra

I am a great believer in Remembering who we are and were! As such I have
created a Mailing list archive, dedicated to remebering the people the
Society has lost.

There are no members of this list!
Anyone can read the Archives!
Anyone can post a message to the list!

SCA-Memorial at yahoogroups.com

Either post new messages about someone not covered so far, or reply to a
current post in order to group the comments by thread, (persons name)

There is no censorship in the memorial list, but I will moderate for facts.
And you may post anonymously, but factual statements will be checked for
accuracy.

Like any good old fashioned wake, You can say anything but say something.

Please post this announcement to as many Kingdom or regional lists as you
can, since it was meant to be for all of us.
