Baron & Baroness of Nottinghill Coill - for 23 more days.... (grin)
Nottinghill
Coill's Baronial Birthday & Investiture
Camp Gravatt, Aiken County, SC
March 26th-28th 2004
We invite one and all to come and join us in welcoming William
Welwyn and Julian Hungerford as the new Baron and Baroness of Nottinghill
Coill. This being the 24th Anniversary of the founding of this wonderful
Barony, we have planned a full day of activities for one and all.
There will be competitions in Heavy, Rapier, Archery, and Arts &
Sciences to choose the Champions for their new Excellencies. We urge you to
check the website for the latest updates on the details for the tournaments.
There will also be many children's activities during the day.
The evening will entail a wondrous feast prepared by THL Bruno
with the help of a superb staff. Contact THL Bruno at 803-642-2287 with any
dietary concerns. The Canton of Cyddlain Downs will be hosting an Evening
Ball. The list of dances will be posted on the website soon.

The site is a large and beautiful wooded area with a lake and
dozens of cabins and tent sites (see pictures of tents & cabins on Website),
and is discreetly wet (no original containers) so bring your meads and wine
for the feast. When making an On-site reservation please specify if you
have a preference for a cabin, on-site tent, or bringing your own tent, and
if bringing your own, whether it is a modern or period tent. Also please
let us know whether you would prefer the quiet camp or the noisy camp. The
tents already on-site are huge and will sleep 8 people comfortably. The
cabins have 8-10 bunk beds, they are only screened in but have power. If
you wish to reserve a tent or a cabin as a group, that can be arranged.
There will be a map of the site on the website if you would like to pick a
spot.
