the information useful.

Greetings to all heavy fighters, especially combat archers,
planning to attend the War College being held this weekend
at Kingdom Arts and Sciences Festival. The Company of St.
Aiden just learned that local laws prohibit archery at the
site. In correction to our previously posted curriculum,
there will be no archery activities that day.

Our skilled archers are a necessary and deadly force in the
Atlantian army, and being unable to practice with them is
certainly our loss.  Please see the Kingdom calendar for the
series of upcoming Kingdom War Practices.

"Classes" begin

spears (the Queen's Spears will train separately)
polearms/greatswords
scouts/sappers
archers (pending enough interest)

11:30 a.m.

shield charges
minitourneys--the top half of each list may fight with
that
weapon for the day, the rest must carry shield
(exceptions for limited authorization)

spear
polearm/greatsword

remaining classes continue at the discretion of the
teachers


12:00 p.m.

triads
formed from units that normally fight together

1 or 2 shields and <1 greatweapon

rally drills

triads/small units
large units

1:00 p.m.
lunch break
Fighters are encouraged to peruse the A&S exhibits
whose artisans
have granted us a space in which to burnish our skills
in time for War.

2:00 p.m.

Unit Tactics
using small models on a grid to review 6 formations
        mixed field, column, echelon, hammer & anvil,
wedge,

and monster

2:30 p.m.
        Bridge battle

two 10-minute rounds (or equivalent)

vanilla
w/archery (pending enough interest) & siege weapons


3:00 p.m.

Open field battle, two 10-minute rounds (or
equivalent)

vanilla
w/archery (pending enough interest) & siege weapons

3:30 p.m.

Diamond "gut check" resurrection battle


4:15 p.m.
everyone breathes
Those so inclined armor down enough to help set up the
hall for Court
and feast.

4:30 p.m.

drills

Kingkiller
Box the Knight
etc.
