Wanna be on TV? Radio? Newspapers? Well we want you to!!! Come on down and be apart of SCA History!

For those of you familiar with Meridian events, The Fool's War Castle of Sir Fiachna's is here as well as an engineering masterpeice of construction - Lord Robert's Bridge to Oblivion!

Too hot you say? Well you can stand in the actual "Mists of Avalon" that was built by Lord Julian. It made its trial run at Warriors Games and was an instant SCA Legend!

Seriously though, we would like to extend an invitation to come on down and enjoy a little fun while entertaining the masses.

See you there!

BATTLE FOR GULL Y BRANCH DEMO - JULY 3rd

Canton of Misty March by the Sea - Florence, SC

Citizens of Atlantia, we have need of thee! We are being invaded by hordes of mundane and we need your fighters, performers, and your artisans to entertain them.

The Canton of Misty Marsh is helping the City of Florence with its "Spirit of Florence", a July 4th celebration and the SCA is an advertised main attraction. The crowds are expected to reach into the tens of thousands!

MARTIAL ACTIVITIES: A full day of fighting! Single and team combat! Bridge Battles and Castle Sieges! All culminating with a Grand Melee' to center stage the celebration. The assembled masses will be able to toss "Greek Fire" (tennis balls with streamers) at the fighters! Please contact the Marshal or Autocrat so that we can get an estimate of how many fighters will be in attendance.

ARTS AND SCIENCES: If you have something to share - bring it! We will have space to display your work. For anyone wishing to perform or demonstrate a skill we can make space. Contact the Autocrat to schedule a time and space. Electricity is available. Small torches for lamp working and pewter casting are OK.

THE SITE: Timrod Park, Florence SC. The site opens at 9a.m. with armor inspection at 10:30. The event is scheduled to run until 5pm and the park closes at dark. An array of food vendors will be on site with FREE Pepsi products throughout the day! Set up of pavilions is permitted on Friday night but no camping is allowed in the park. Police will be present. A baseball game (with free admission for us) will finish off the night with a HUGE twenty minute fireworks display afterwards.
