[MR] RE: Youth Combat in MD and VA

There are youth combat practices in MD.

There is one in College Park, MD. This is the Storvik regular Monday heavy 
practice and youth combat practice has been taking place there (separate from 
the heavies).

Fighter Practice is every Monday evening at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in 
College Park, MD, from 7 to 9 pm. Directions: Take your best route to the 
Washington Beltway (I-495). Take exit 25 (Rt. 1) South, and follow Rt. 1 South. 
After about 2 miles, take a left onto College Ave (The MD book exchange is on 
left). The church is two blocks down on the left. Turn left at the end of the 
second block, then left into the parking lot. Practice is in the main hall at the 
top of a flight of exterior stairs or in the
parking lot if weather permits.

The Roxbury Mill practice in Montgomery Village, MD (just north of 
Gaithersburg) will start having youth combat on Wednesdays starting 6/16/04. This 
practice is outside and sometimes gets canceled due to rain etc. The address for 
this is:

10631 Stedwick Road, Montgomery Village, MD
Stedwick Elem. School - Wednesday nights from 6:30 pm until it's too dark to 
fight.

Parents must attend/observe one practice with the youth as part of the stuff 
that needs to be done before a youth can actually do combat at a practice.
