[MR] Coastal Region Fighter Practice

Come one, come all to the Coastal Region Fighter practice on June 13,
2004 in the Stronghold of Raven's Cove.  There will be heavy and rapier
practices.  His Most Excellent Excellency Baron Alejandro has graciously
agreed to teach "Marshalling 101" and "Rapier Marshalling 101", and we
are currently seeking someone to teach "Heavy Marshalling 101" in order
to round out our day of martial activities and education.  We will have
Arts and Science Classes as well.

There will be a potluck/barbecue on site.  Bring all your own food and
drink.  There are bathroom facilities (real flushies!) and a water
fountain, but no electricity.  There are several grills available for
our use.  There is a generously-sized picnic shelter, extensive
playgrounds for the children (both big kids and tiny tots), and sand
volleyball courts.  Also, it is located next to the city skateboard park
(helmet, knee and elbow pads required) for those bringing anyone who
wishes to skate.  There is enough land to hold melee practice.

The location is at the Jacksonville Commons Rec Center Park in
Jacksonville, NC.  We have the shelter reserved from 9am to 7pm.  Here 
are directions:

Coming from Hwy 17, turn onto Western extension
by Walmart, go through the stoplight by Marine Chevrolet and Geoffries 
to the next stoplight.  Turn right and go to the stop sign.  Turn left 
and follow road around; the skate park is on the right side.
