Greetings!

Another reminder that Storvik Novice Tourney fast approaches.
Storvik Novice Tournament/Northern Regional War Practice
Friday July 16, 2004 – Sunday July 18, 2004

Baroness Johanna Von Sudeborn requests your attention for announcement
of the Annual Storvik Novice Tourney and Northern Regional War Practice.

In the Southern fair lands of Storvik, at Croom Park, all Novice fighters
and Artisans are encouraged to have your skill evaluated by the Baroness.
All veteran Fighters and Artisans are invited to peruse the pool of talent
so you may have first pick of the batch to enhance your guilds, groups and
households.  There will be a novice tourney for fighters that have been
authourized for one year or less.  In addition, the new Baronial Champion
for Archery will be chosen at this event to serve Her Excellency.  The new
Champion need not be a novice to win the honor.

Atlantian Cavalry Demo and Authorizations
Off in the distance from the South we hear the rumblings.  The Atlantian
Cavalry traveling from Nottingham Coill will be present in full Regalia. The
populace is invited to participate in the activities.  Classes in the
Equestrian Arts will be offered as well as S.C.A. Authorizations. To
participate in Cavalry Activities you MUST CONTACT Lady Brandwyn Alson of
the Rift at 612 Jewell Avenue, Portsmouth, VA 23701 (757) 488-3597 or email:
brndalston at aol.com to make arrangements for all private horses, rental
horses, authorizations and information about the games.

Northern Regional War Practice
On Sunday, the Barony of Storvik is delighted to host a War Practice.
Authorizations will begin at 11am.  Fighting from 12 – 3pm.
Martial Activities: Heavy, and Archery Novice Tournaments, Authorizations.

Arts and Sciences: There will be a competition for best in show for all who
have been practicing their art for less than one year. There are no
restrictions on medium, topic or time period. There will be an additional
curriculum vite display open to all. This is your chance to show off pieces
demonstrating all of your arts. Simply set out one of everything you've ever
done.
Classes: A number of classes oriented towards beginners will be held
throughout Saturday. If you have questions or would like to teach a class,
