Dear Friends and Gentle People,

It is with a great deal of pleasure and with tremendous pride in My Darling
Lady Wife that I announce to you that Susan Willet (known to the Society as
Lady Aithne Macdonald) has been accepted for enrollment in L'Academie de
Cuisine in the Pastry Arts Program.  This is a competitive appointment with
only twelve spots available.  And Susan got one of them.  Devotees of
Subtletie may recall and appreciate her Gingerbread Castle, her Dragon's
Tail, her Cornocopia, or any of the many other efforts with which she graced
Twelth-night celebrations and Coronations for many of the last 8 years.
Apparently Chef Francois Dionot did as well, as he pronounced her "an
excellent candidate' for the program.

L'Academie de Cuisine is located in Gaithersburg Maryland, so Susan will be
relocating to that city, to stay with her sister, while she is in school.  I
shall remain in the Richmond area, at this time.  Please join me in wishing
her All the Best as she pursues her Dream.
