Description:  

As the winds of war drift upon our land, a call to arms and prepare for that
day has come.  The Shire of Hindscroft welcomes one and all for a day of
tournament and fun.

Martial Activities:  

There will be a bear pit tourney going through out the day.  Also there will
be a pole arm and great sword tourney and finally a spear tourney.  There
will also be a rapier tourney.  There will be a contest for the Best Death,
Best Taunt, and the most chivalrous fighter on the field.

 

There will also be a Children's Tourney as well for all three divisions.
Please have your paperwork completed before arriving on site.

 

Arts & Sciences Activities:  

There will be a competition offered:  The best use of heraldry on the field.
This includes both on the fighting field and off.

Cost Notes:

For adult members the cost is $5.00, child (age 6 - 17) is $3.00, and
Children under 5 are guests of the Shire.

Non-Member, please add $3.00 to these costs.

Feast will be provided for a cost of $3.00.

Camping is available through Hagan Stone Park campground for $3.00 per
person.  If you plan to camp please call 336-674-0472 (park office) or
336-373-5888 (Dept. of Park Services) for details.  Please ask for details
on reserving a primitive camp site at Hagan Stone Park.  They might or might
not know what the SCA is and to prevent any confusion treat them as you
would if it was a mundane reservation.

Hagan Stone Park, 5920 Hagan Stone Park Road, Pleasant Garden, NC 27313.
Site opens at 10:00 AM and closes at 7:00 PM.

 

Site Restrictions:  

All pets must be on a leash, no alcohol and no projectile weapons are
allowed in the park.  No swimming.

 

Feast Information:

Simple family style feast will be served by Lord Galen the Bald.

 

Merchanting Information:

All merchants are invited to display their wares at no additional cost.
Please contact the autocrat before the event date.  Currently this is only
one spot left for merchants.

Directions:  

*	Take your best route to I-85/40 in Greensboro.  
*	Take the US-421 S exit #126 toward Sanford (Hwy 421 South).  
*	Turn RIGHT onto Martin Luther King Jr. Drive / US-421.  
*	Continue to follow US-421 S for about 7 miles to Hagan Stone Park
Road.  (there is a stop light at this intersection)  
*	Turn RIGHT onto Hagan Stone Park Road.  
*	Go 2 miles and the park is on the right.
*	Site is located at Shelter #4.  (see site map on website)
