[MR] Royal court report, Highland River Melees, 12 June 2004, Highland Foorde

Greetings unto all from Lady Thyra Olafsdottir.

This past weekend, on 12 June 2004, A.S. XXXIX, the Barony of
Highland Foorde held its annual event, Highland River Melees.
 
His Royal Majesty held court, and herein lies the business
conducted. First, after words of greeting to the attending
populace, His Majesty allowed Her Excellency of Highland Foorde,
Baroness Deirdre to hold court. The business conducted therein
will be reported in a separate missive.

Upon closing of Baronial court, Royal Court did resume. The
following awards were given:

1. The Deputy Earl Marshall for Target Archery, Siegfried
Sebastian Faust, was called in to elevate Rhiryd ap Gwerstan to
the rank of Bowman Elite.
2. Award of Arms - Finn O’Donovan*
3. Order of the Golden Dolphin - Lady Livia of Ravenswood
4. Award of Arms - Deirdre of Highland Foorde
5. Shark’s Tooth - Lord Conall MacLeod*
6. Order of the Yew Bow - Baron Barre fitzRobert of York
7. Award of Arms - Reyne Telarius
8. Award of Arms - Delphina the Mad
9. Order of the King’s Missiliers - Lady Francesca Angelo
10.  Order of the Opal - Lady Thyra Olafsdottir
11.  Award of Arms - Richard of Foxmoore
12.  Award of Arms - Geoffrey ap Clwyd
13.  Order of the Golden Dolphin - Mistress Jean Tenneur de Bec
14.  Shark’s Tooth - Lord Theron Andronikos

There being no further business, court was closed.
