Unto all those who want one last chance to fight before Pennsic, one
Last Chance to Authorize before Pennsic, or one last Chance to get
organized for Pennsic does Gorm of Berra send greetings:

The weather gods appear, at this point, to be smiling on us.  The
current weather forecast for Rivers Point for tomorrow is a Partly
Cloudy and 88 degrees.

Sound like Pennsic weather?  Of course it does!!!

So, come on out, participate in Melees, get that last Authorization
for War, practice your skills, get acclimatized to the heat, and get
ready.

The site opens at 9 AM.  Activities will start as soon thereafter as
Marshals and fighters are ready.

Directions:  Take your best route to I-85 in Petersburg, VA, Take the
Squirrel Level Road exit (From the North it's the first exit on I-85,
from the South it is the next to last before you reach I-95, I believe
it is exit 67, but I may be off by a mile), and follow the signs to
Richard Bland College.

You can also reach the college off I-95 or US-460 directly, but we do
not recommend that route.  Only the route off I-85 will have SCA signs
marking the path.

Gate Fee is $5.  The $3 NMS applies as always.

Bring your armor, your weapons, your shade, and come out for one last
good practice before War beckons.
