[MR] any one know what it takes to get on the hidden mountain email list??

Sometimes listowners aren't in email every day. If I
can't get people via email I generally pick up the
phone or ask the group seneschal, especially if it's
right before Pennsic.

However many groups have strict members-only rules
about their lists to protect against spam. Typically
they choose to enforce the rule across the board to
everybody. As I'm sure you remember we had this
discussion about Hawkwood's list just recently on the
Sacred Stone list.

If I can't post to a list because they've created a
members-only rule for themselves, I can often send my
message to the seneschal or the list owner and they
typically post my message for me.

I post the message here because it's a good discussion
for how to communicate with groups that have
members-only rules about their lists.
