Do you just want to have one Last Chance to sharpen your skills to a 
razor's edge?

Well do we have a deal for you!

July 31st, in the Canton of Rivers Point of the Barony of Caer Mear will be 
having Last Chance Authorizations and Melee Practice at Richard Bland 
College in Petersburg, VA.

This is not an official "Kingdom War Practice", but we'll be doing the same 
sorts of things.  Trust me, if you don't get enough fighting out of the 
day, you just weren't trying!

We have tons of space for Heavy, Rapier, Combat Archery, Siege, Scout and 
Sapper practice, anything! (EXCEPT hound coursing or Equestrian, sorry...no 
animals allowed on site)

Authorizations will be available in the morning, or if you have to show up 
late, we have the space to hold it off on the side if necessary.

Marshals and MITs are welcome and encouraged to attend and get more 
practice in.

Chirurgeons: First Aid and CPR recertifications are available at the event, 
please contact the autocrat IN ADVANCE for more information on these.

The site is less than 5 minutes from where I-95 and I-85 intersect in 
Petersburg, VA, so it's easily accessible from almost anywhere in the Kingdom.

It's the one last chance to come out and get ready to answer the call of War!

Last Chance Authorization Event

Do you have a new piece of armor you'd like to try out before Pennsic? Do 
you need to authorize in a new weapons form before that fateful battle? 
Would you like to come and practice melee tactics with your friends. Well, 
do we have an event for YOU!   It's called Last Chance. It is the absolute 
last chance to authorize in a weapons form before Pennsic. This is your 
chance. Don't delay. Bring your armor, bring a lunch, bring your friends, 
bring your favorite marshal or MiT!

His Excellency Balynar will be selecting his Baronial Champions on this 
day.  No formal tournaments are planned, he will be making his choice by 
observing the fighters from the Barony during the day and announcing them 
at the Baronial Court at the end of the day (schedule subject to change)

Here's a little information about the site: There are no buildings other 
than the ones we bring with us (porta-castles will be provided). If it 
rains, you will get wet. There will be an A&S display, in a Pavillion (so 
if it rains, it might get wet).  Please note that there will not be any 
children's activities, and pets are NOT permitted on site under any 
circumstances.

In case you're wondering.. There WILL be both heavy and rapier fighting and 
authorizing at this event. Combat Archery authorization will take place if 
we have a CA marshal on site.
